The Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine is dedicated to ensuring its visitors, staff, volunteers, and board members reflect the identities and abilities of all community members. Access and inclusion initiatives expand accessibility for families across New England and beyond.
Our goal is to learn how CMTM can be inclusive to as many needs and perspectives as possible. Sometimes, this means removing the cost barrier. Other times, this means creating institutional and cultural change and an intentional step towards better practices informed and implemented by historically excluded voices.
