Located in the Arts District of downtown Portland, the Children's Museum & Theatre of Maine features a wide variety of interactive exhibits and activities for children and families!

Highlights

Pinocchio
See the magical classic tale by Carlo Collodi and watch our little wooden puppet come to life onstage. Pinocchio has to learn right from wrong if he ever wants to become a real boy. Movement workshop with Gretchen Berg!
Join us on Saturday, July 31 at 2:30pm for a creative movement workshop with SmartArt Guest Artist Gretchen Berg! Using SmartArt as inspiration, we'll use our bodies to transform sound into motion. This special opportunity is FREE with admission. Sign up at the front desk upon arrival.

Join us on the Green for our 5th Annual Golf Tournament on September 20, 2010.
Parking Tips
Discounted parking is available at the garage on Free Street (located one block past the Museum & Theatre) and By the Bay Parking on 40 Spring Street. Just be sure to bring your ticket for us to stamp!

Metered parking ($1.00 per hour) is also available on Free Street in two hour increments.
Visit us on Sunday and they're free!
